Ticking is usually a sign of improper oil level or exhaust leaks often have a ticking sound. Try to listen to see if its in time with the normal exhaust sounds. If the oil level is fine and it doesnt sound like the exhaust, its probably a small mechanical issue. Get it checked out by a mechanic before the ticking object breaks and becomes worse.

yes, as long as the O2 sensor screw tightly and the clip (plug in match) dont recomend any cutting or rigging the wire it self. all O2 sensors has built with the same concept.

SOURCE: 2000 Chrysler Town & Country smelling fuel

check the fuel filter connections first. If all ok, have a mechanic check it. If there is an evaporative leak, the check engine light should be on.

If both are from the same style drivetrain and engine, they should interchange. A salvage yard should be able to tell you for sure.

Ticking noise on a 2001 town and country is it really a lifter

Probably, but other things can cause what sounds like a tick as well. Early rod wear can sound a lot like a lifter tick. Sometimes even the transmission can develop a ticking in the area of the torque converter/pump. If there is no other apparent issues, chalk it up to old bones - after all you have 186K on it.
