Question about 2000 Nissan Quest
Lube ALL hinges on the sliding door, including the ones in the rear espacially. Then shut off the auto closing feature and work the lube into the hinges, by closing and opening the door several times. Re-lube again and work the lube in. The rear hinges get forgoten and never get lubed and seize up.

Take a rag with rubbing alcohol and start wiping out all the creavas. Get it spick and span, those dern things are super sensitive a little peice of popcorn kernal will not let it close
