I have the same issue at both doors. Happened at the exact same time. Could it be both switches or are they tied together electrically? Thanks!I have the same issue at both doors. Happened at the exact same time. Could it be both switches or are they tied together electrically? Thanks!

bought it like this. so fob buttons work, but not hatch. but lock inside locks fail (elect. buttons) driver and shotguns side both fail, lock sw? ext, mirrors dead. door looks in the service manual has 5 pages of schematics, is well advised to read that first not scanning the PCM/BCM first is never good. oK if the speed sensor on the car fails, doors will act up. (for sure if it see car moving and is not) the radio receiver (fob) works mostly Fuse MIR /LKS must not be blown door buttons fail why not check all fuses, save work and not need books to fix it if a fuse blew.?(underhood box) IP fuse PWR/LKS not blown the BCM runs the 3 Door lock relays possibles Fuse MIR /LKS blown 3amps this kill local door power to LF and RF door swithes dead. and Rear glass to. the relay board does not fail with fobs. is the key fact. your post is not clear on all for doors. or LF an RF door switches. but assumed both are dead, me. so it is just blown fuse. we always check fuse first. a 20 cent part.
Just replacing the battery in a key fob should not require any reset! If the power door locks work using the remote or key then it could be the switch is faulty!
1. Get in your vehicle.
2. Close the door.
3. Put key in ignition
4. Do not turn on the ignition yet.
5. Hold down on the unlock button on the door panel. Do not let up.
6. Turn the key to ON, OFF, ON, OFF (while still holding the unlock button on the door panel).
7. Release the unlock button.
8. The door locks should cycle, indicating that you did everything correctly.
9. Have all your remote entry fobs available. Hold down on both the lock and unlock buttons until the door locks cycle. Do the same on all key fobs. This will re-program all of them.
10. Turn ON the ignition key to exit the program mode.
11. DONE.
the key dont work or just the fob?????????????
did you try both fobs?
car came with 2 fobs try both. ?
if both fobs fail, bad solenoid, if metal key works.
if metal dont work, the lock is frozen with ICE, got ICE?(hair dryer fixes it)
no ice ?,then lube the lock with graphite, lube. if key fails.
if key dont fail and you get 12v to solenoid, then the solenoid is bad
I just replaced one that had 1/2 power (the guts inside sol were bad)
$100 part. too.
Take the key apart, replace the battery. The car needs to relearn the key, so stick it in the ignition, turn the car to the "on" setting without starting, press the unlock button on the fob. Thats it!
dont go through all the hassles of removing the door trim just take the terminal off the battery for about a minute then reconect again worked on mine good luck
