There seems to be a couple of things going on here. Does the door key work the ignition switch? Does it start the car OK. When doesn't the remote work? Have you changed the battery in the remote lately? Also, the key might not work in the door lock as the tumblers could be worn down. Did you unlock the car with the car a lot? It could also be frozen, try a squirt of WD40 in the lock, or the rod attached to the lock could be bent. I could go on and on. When do you mean by the keyhole for the driver's side doesn't open the door. Are you talking about the little flap that car keyholes have to keep moisture out, again a shot of WD 40 could fix that. Have you changed the battery in the remote? that will more than likely resolve your problem
