SOURCE: Key and Remote
Programming is easy, if you know the method of the model you're using. BUT, on the fact that the keys were stolen, I'd take the car to the dealer and have both the receiver and a new transmitter with a new signal frequency. The idea of having your keys out there in someone elses hands is a very bad thing. Many insurance companies will refuse to cover the car if it's stolen in such a way, as it wasn't broken into in any way. I'd definitely buckle down and pay the money to keep total security on your car.
As for the transmitter itself, most likely can only be replaced by a dealer, as each one is specifically coded for the car. Finding a universal to work on just your car may be nearly impossible and probably not worth the hassle of finding for the money you would save.
I hope this helps you out a little, as I said before; I'd just have a dealer refit your car so you won't have to worry about someone else breaking into your car and stealing it with your keys.
SOURCE: Alarm system keeps going off
I had same problem, when a door lock broke, the car thinks it has been broken into once the alarm goes off. Mine started going off randomly when this lock broke. You have to reset the alarm system, with my 1990 Acura it was reset finally by putting key in door lock and turning key back and forth 3X. In my car, it was OK to do the key in door lock cycle in the passenger side door lock, but Acura dealer told me not all Acuras will reset it via passenger side key cycling, some require driver door lock key cycling only. I was lucky since my driver side door lock was currently useless, that my car allowed it to be done by key cycle on pass. door lock. But try that and if it doesn't fix it, just call acura dealerships until someone tells you the right answer. In my situation it took 3 dealerships with 3 different answers until this was the right one for my 1990 Legend.
PS I was told you can't disable alarm since it is all integrated into the battery and starting system, but read on another post that someone disableld theirs by disconnecting the horn.

SOURCE: Acura TSX 2005 radio code
I had the same problem when I had my battery replaced.
I guess the mechanic tried to enter the code.... and after 10 tries he failed of course, and the system locked itself and gave the ERROR message.
All you need to do is leave the system on for an hour (Yes, leave it on... meaning you most likely need to drive around for an hour... and sit in the car for an hour doing nothing....)
Then the ERROR message will change back to CODE (you will hear a long beep)
Now you can enter your code. Remember do it slowly. Enter the key 1 by 1...
Do not input quickly, otherwise it will not work
Hope this helps!
