Sometimes the battery will emit that smell when it's going bad. You might want to have that looked at. Otherwise, the other rotten egg smell comes from exhaust and it should not be getting into the cabin.

Make sure she is using the correct octain gas; not any higher as it can endup in the cat and smell bad and damage the emission system.

Why does my Navigator smell like rotten eggs and misses when running?

Because you fail to do routine Preventative Maintenance

You do not change spark plugs every 3 years
Front oxygen sensors at 100,000 miles
Remove & mail your injectors away-- for Ultra Sonic
Cleaning, at about 150,000 miles or 12 years

Now the exhaust converter is ruined, thus the rotten egg
smell (sulphur dioxide) also from failed cop ignition coils
& thus rich fuel trim & ruined converter

Lost of work needs to be done there, before you can replace
the converters

It will take $1,500 min to straighten out those issues

check O2 Sensors, add a product called Ametech restore at next oil change, this does wonders for your vehicle, improved my BHP & MPG threefold , also as you say it smells bad (Like rotten eggs?) this will be the catalytic converter, either replace or add a product called cataclean to the fuel & take it for a run, It literally cleans all the **** fro the catalytic converter removing that rotten egg smell

My 2002 Pontiac GP V6 smells like rotten eggs from the exhaust

The rotten egg smell if it is coming from the exhaust is a very good sign that you catalytic converter has failed or is failing. but a bad or battery that is being overcharged can also make a rotten egg like smell.

Rotten egg smell after new plugs and wires seems to miss now

did he gap the plugs properly? sulfur smell comes from excess fuel being dumped into the exhaust (catalytic converter). Could be the coil, or improperly gapped plugs. If the wires were out of order, there would be a misfire.
