What are the firing ports on the 350 for a 94 suburban. If #1 is on the front left, what are the preceding numbers? Also what are they on the distributor cap. Thanks

Alot of times the firing order is stamped onto the intake, will look like a bunch of numbers either dashed or spaced close together starting with one.

Diagram spark plug wiring

my guess, is you removed them and didnt mark them?
the firing order?
what engine, there are 5.

to do this , one need to know 5 things.
2.5L, 2.8L, 4.0L and 5.2/5.9L engine displacements.
the distributor rotation direction CCW, or CW
and last the firing order, sometimes marked clearly on the intake manifold.
you must now where #1 cylinder is (always most front)
1989-98 2.5L Engine firing order: 1-3-4-2 Distributor rotation: Clockwise
2.8L Engine firing order: 1-2-3-4-5-6 Distributor rotation: Clockwise
4.0L Engine firing order: 1-5-3-6-2-4 Distributor rotation: Clockwise
5.2L and 5.9L Engine firing order: 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 Distributor rotation: Clockwise
on a v6/v8 one cylinder is more forward. this is #1, look carefully.

86 s-10, 2.8 v6. Changed the distributor and button, will not fire. Definitely have the firing order correct, and have spark all the way to the plugs. Turns but won't even try to fire. Firing order is...

It would be easy enough if that was the firing order but it isn't. The firing order is1-6-5-4-3-2. The odd numbers are on the driver's side front to back and the even numbers on the passenger side. #1 on the distributor points to the front of the engine and the distributor turns clockwise. Hope this helps.

Need to know how the spark plug wires go in order from distributor to spark plug in the motor

on fords the cylinders are numbered in a row unlike a cheverolet if it is a v 8 that is. right and left side of the motor is figured from as if you are sitting in the driver seat right side 1234 and left side5678 on a v8 of course as so far as your firing order would have to know the engine size to answer, so i would know if the rotor spins clockwise or counter clockwise, and what cylinder order they fire in.
