Car Airconditioner giving stange clunking noise and hisses in engine compartment

Have a strange issues with my A/c.

Car A/c
Make/Model - Honda Accord 97 DX model.

A/c temp was not cooling. Hence filled with Freon Interdynamics 134A. Then filled with Interdynamics A/c leak sealer.

A/c was not working. A/c compressor started to trip off every 3 secs approx. Got strange noises. Gas started to release like rifle shot. The A/cpipe inside the engine compartment was ice cold and it was freezing. But the ducts inside the car cabin were not sending cool air. (looked like only the fan was working).

After running for 1 hour gradually it started to cooling. However the A/c cooling effect is not good. Temp is around 80 deg. I am getting continuos releases inside the engine compartment. It has been 2 weeks since I filled the gases A/c performance has improved but not cooler.
I also hear starnge clunking noise.

When I steer then there icecold water spilling on my leg near the accelerator pedal. When I steer on the other side icecold water spilling on my leg on the passenger side.

Its a sure problem due to mechanical failure done/occured due to vehical's sudden jurk, or mal fixing of A/C elements during vehical serives, kindly go for the company serive station, without wasting much of time, as due to perssure building up in compressor may lead to further damage to the system, and please avoid you yourself fixing of the things, if you are not well expertised in it. thank you.

My 1999 Honda Accord starts up and will idle roughly and when you hit the gas pedal the car will bog down until the gas pedal is pumped and the tach reads about 1200rpm and then it begins to...

The hissing could be a vacuum leak. Depending on the leak it could be a EGR valve issue, manifold gasket but you also need to check the fuel lines, pump and filter. It could also be a bad catalytic converter.

Hissing noise??

Hi Tommy Parry, not totally sure on your problem but would suspect the heater core which is a radiator device inside the passenger compartment. The hot engine water is feed through the fire wall into the heater core when you select heat on the heater. either the heater core is leaking which is an expensive repair or the pipes maybe rubber pipes have a hole in them and checking them in the engine bay especially the hose clamps in the engine bay where the hoses are feed into the passenger compartment may be a starting point.

Car wont start

It sounds like the timing belt snaps based on the hissing sound that you described............if it cranks lightly without much load then it is confirmed the timing belt has snapped.
