No I have not. Just discovered the problem. I don't know where the warning module is located.

I noticed recently that I am experiencing two issues with my car - both relating to a reminder "notification":

The first is when the key is left in the ignition, I am supposed to hear a reminder beep that notifies me that I have left the key in the ignition - mainly upon existing the car. I no longer receive this beep reminder.

The second is when I inadvertantly leave the headlights on. After removing the key from the ignition swith, I am supposed to hear a reminder beep (or tone) upon opening the door. I am no longer receiving this beep reminder either.

I have the same problem except the interior lights won't come on either. I talked to a friend who works for Honda. He said it sounds like the Driver's door sensor. i am trying to find out how to get one and replace it.

I am a trained tech of 30 years, but I have no idea where the module is, u will have to consult a service manual for the location of the module

I had the problem as I posted earlier today. I got a part from my local Honda dealer. It was part # 35400s5a013 switch assembly and is on the drivers side door column. It took me about 5 minutes to switch it out with a socket wrench. The part cost me $4.77 plus tax but could not get it from Autozone or NAPA. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem, the drivers door switch had broken free from it's mounting. I just unscrewed the outer rubber protector and refit the switch.

How do you disconnect a reverse beeping signal on a 2006 Toyota Sequoia?

I have found the beeper wired into the reverse lights and if you just find the beeper and cut off the wire and cap it you should be fine and no more beep.

Hello there, Well I have a 95 mustang srs V6 the problem i have with it is that whenever I turn on my lights (headlights) a beeping sound goes off as if the doors were open. Again this only happens when...

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. I would say this is your reminder switch that is beeping. When the car is off, it will beep to let you know to turn off the lights. It probably isn't recognizing the car is on, only the lights being on. It could also be a sign of a headlight out possibly. I would say your headlight warning switch may be bad. Either that or the light. It is only supposed to go off when the car is dead and the lights are on. As far as the location of the part, I really don't know. This is just a possibility.

No warning for leaving head lights on

does the key reminder work?? if so then there could be a problem with the tail light relay which feeds the body control module, that feeds the gauge module which feeds the beeper. I would advise taking it to the dealer, or a shop that does a lot of HONDA work. ,

No alarm for lights on

I suppose you mean beeper does not go "on" when head lights are "on" and you open drivers door.In this case beeper's door switch may be dirty. Check also for any loose wire connection or faulty beeper relay.
