The trasmission is stuck in park. is there a safety switch?

The switch is called a PRNDL switch and is located on top of the valve body, inside the transmission.

Most safety switches are a black module located on the side of the transmission, where it shifts into gear.

All indications of a bad neutral safety switch. It's a safety feature designed to prevent you from shifting from Park without your foot being on the brake. If the switch is bad, the car can't sense your foot on the brake to allow you to shift it from Park.

Could be the trasmission safety switch, that prevents engine starting in gear, and allows it on PARK and NEUTRAL...

Either brake switch or park/neutral safety switch is bad.

the neutral switch is on the trasmission on the shirter its not that hard to change good luck pierre
