Question about 2003 Lincoln Navigator
While braking on the highway the steering wheel shakes right and left quite severe while I feel nothing different in the brake pedal, any ideas?
I have actually had my car act like this twice where the wheel shakes and it's really hard to steer. Both times, my issue was that the alignment was off and once that was fixed I no longer had steering issues. So I don't think your issue really has anything to do with your brakes. Have you taken your vehicle through any potholes lately or had an accident? Sometimes those types of things can cause some damage and offset the alignment. Alignment in Indian Trail NC

My 2004 Navigator did the same thing. The front rotors warp due to the heat caused from stopping such a heavy vehicle. I repkaced the traditional rotors with slotted rotors and haven't had any problems since.

Sounds like you need a wheel alignment
