- Can some guru guy tell us how to fix this problem? I got the same problem on my Z3 1998 2.8L, after remove the battery for a regular clean up on the trunk, my OBC/clock is not working any longer, and just "PPP" is being displayed.The "PPP" never goes away, does not matter if the car is on or off , the "PPP" is there.
Please advice.- JoeZ3

you need to replace the whole OBC/clock unit. Don't go to ebay. I just checked them out, they want $175+ for them. e-mail me at dain.epperson@gmail.com and I'll pick you up one for way cheaper at my salvage yard. Or, join any of the different bimmer forums online and you can get a plethera of parts for great prices.
