Question about 1999 Saab 9-5
You can try qualityimportparts.com or europartsdirect.com. 4-cyl DIM's between $205 & $225, 6-cyl from similar price for each bank (3-cylinders each side.)

With either the 2.3 4-cyl turbo or the V-6, it's actually rather simple. The unit has 4 bolts on top (usually a torx star-shape) and an electrical connector at one end. U need to disconnect the battery since the unit is rather high-voltage, disconnect it from the connector, remove the bolts & it lifts out. When installing, try to make sure the new unit remains upright as there is oil inside and may leak. Installation is the reverse. Best to replace the plugs at the same time; NGK resistor-types are recommended for this type of ignition system & are most likely specified in the owner's manual. You can try "europartsdirect.com" for a new one for a decent price, around $206 each for the V6, $250 for the 4-cylinder. A search on Ebay can also return sellers with new & used parts; used are generally cheaper and many have descriptions of the donor car and a moderate warranty. A Saab dealer will run you close to $500 not including labor for the installation. Hope this helps & good luck!
