Question about 2006 Honda Accord
I have a 97 Accord SE A/T and the 4D light flashes. The vehicle starts in 2nd gear and doesn't seem to lock-up on overdrive on the highway. Honda shows a P1705 code with the check engine code on and said I need a 'gear position switch" which I replaced. The gps did not change the symptoms. Do I have a Transmission Control Module problem?

I had that same code with my 96 accord and it turned out that the Vehicle Speed Sensor was bad. replaced it and it runs like new.
