Question about 2001 GMC Sonoma Extended Cab

Will not start or turnover in the least little bit

Clear out of the blue, my truck will not start.

I called a GM tech and he said the it sounded like my alternator kicked the bucket.

I replaced the alternator feeling confident in my battery as it was only 3 months old.

Replaced the alternator, got a "jump-start" and nothing.

Replaced with a brand new battery, still, nothing.

All power is there and you can even hear the fuel pump. It just won't turn over.

If the oil cooler line blew, the oil would have been pumped out quickly. Chances are especially with a GM product...The engine is seized. Sorry

Check the fuel rail that supplies fuel to the injectors. It may be leaking.

Sounds like the starter to me(I assumed you meant won't crank when hot).I have replaced only 1 starter(on my neighbor's Taurus)in the 15 years after quitting the GM dealer tech job 15 years ago.I probably could make a career just changing GM starters and alternators.(I only have Mopars in my driveway!)

There is a bulletin in regards to carbon deposits in the engine. The rings get carbon on them and stick, cause what sounds like a diesel engine knock. I am a former GM tech, my father got his engine replaced under warranty for this condition. He kept it in immaculate condition, but this is an engineering defect and GM is aware of it. The anti theft light is flashing and security light what should i do the car will not start or turnover as if it is stolen

Get your vin number and call GM. Give them the year make and model and tell them what is going on. Chances are they can reset the system from a remote location. I had this done to me, not the same thing, but similar, someone called the ford company and lied to them telling them they were me, or something to that nature, and needed in my truck because I locked the keys in it. Ford unlocked the truck from a remote location, and whomever it was, took my identification. I am still angry about that, but I could almost bet someone had your codes changed, hence you can't go anywhere in your vehicle.

Gm 350 runs rough and back fires at idle after head replacment

Sounds Like a timing issue . If you rebuilt it i feel silly to ask if you set the timing to 12-13 BTDC . And also keep in mind it could be 180 degrees out (same marks yet still a little bit off...) Keep me posted with more info and ill keep replying
