How do you bleed the air out of the power steering system?

If the pump went dry there is a chance that it was damaged....replace the line, re-fill with the proper power steering fluid to the full mark, cap it, start the car and turn the wheel all the way right, then left a few times to help fill the rack with fluid. check the level and top it off as necessary. drive the car a few miles and re-check the level. Whining after the reservoir is full indicates damage to the pump, steering rack or both.
Good luck

How do I fix the problem of my 2004 SV6 commodore being hard to start every time I fill the tank with fuel. The problem disappears once it starts until the next time I fill the tank.

you need to replace the canister purge valve it is stuck open and is allowing fuel vapors to fill your intake manifold and causes a flooding issue which takes the engine longer crank time to clear out the vapors.

Drove van, parked, then it would crank but not start? I check the power to fuel pump, none. no power to injectors either I've change relays, sensors and power control module and still nothing, please h

Check your owners manual for a fuel shut off button/reset, normally found somewhere in the back interior of the van near the gas tank fill. If you still don't get power, try checking your fuses, make sure you check for two fuse panels....one maybe under the hood and one under the dash. Check them using a lighted probe on both sides of the fuse. Also Google 1994 dodge ram 3500 wiring diagram, much found when I did it! I hope this helps!

I have a 95 jeep Cherokee I went to fill up as I was putting gas the jeep was running. Once it was full I turn jeep off went into store came out and it wouldn't start back up. Changed the coil nothing...

Could be the ecu in need of repair, not sending power to the coil. If there is no check engine light coming on, in the dash, with the ignition turned on, then it's probably the ecu.

I have a 2000 buick Le Sabre. gas gauge does not work properly. i filled the tank and the gas gauge reads full. and it works properly past half. then it starts flucturating. i disconnected the gas gauge...

There are three possibilities. The gauge could be defective. The instrument panel voltage regulator could be bad or not grounded or (most expensive) it might be the sending unit.

My 1999 ford 7.3 diesel starts and runs fine. When i press the gas pedal i get nothing and the check engine light comes on.

Sounds like the governor in the injector pump is hanging, that or your linkage has come loose. If you haven't yet, check that. On mine, the little clip on the throttle cable came off the ball on the pump linkage.

If it's not the linkage, get a can of 'Diesel Kleen' from (I think) Power Products (most auto parts stores should have it, if not then check the truck stop. If they don't have it, ask what people buy for a sticky pump) and fill the filter with it. Bleed it, Start the truck and let it run long enough to fill the pump with the Diesel Kleen (30-40 seconds) and shut it off and let it sit for a couple of hours. Fire it up and see what happens.

If nothing improves, come on back and we'll take it from there.

The solenoid comes out with one screw and one wire connection once the pan is dropped.

Dead Battery!!

there should be a plugin under your passenger seat to unplug for the alarm. If by chance you don't you will have to trace the wires and unplug it.
