I have a 2003 Mazda Tribute ES v6 when I put it in drive it won't move anywhere but I hear a vacuum leak when it is idling and I can get it to go reverse it shut off

Trace where the vacuum leak is coming from ,check the fluid level in the trans.top up to correct level, you an find a air leak by spraying throttle body cleaner or W.D 40 around the inlet manifold area.If it won,t go forward after that see a transmission rebuilder.

2002 Mazda Tribute suddenly began losing power on hwy. Put pedal to floor & wouldn't go past 35-40mph but rpm revved high. Got off hwy & drove fine in town. Going home drove fine doing 45-50 off hwy

Check your transmission fluid to make sure it is at the correct level and that it is clean. It is possible that you may have a clogged filter, when was the last time the transmission was properly serviced with a fluid and filter change?

Mazda tribute 2003 transmission not working. i can move the into D 2,1 R but car wont move an inch

since you had a water mixed with transmission fluid, the only thing I personally believe that is no need to continue playing with as the water is the worst enemy of the automatic transmission. makes all the o rings to expand and corrosion . It happened to me a while ago and I reconditioned the Gear box.
