Question about 1985 Honda Accord

1 Answer

Acts like its out of gas

Will not start right away but will in 5-10 min. then run for a few days then again. Tonight would not start. If I sprayed starting fluid it would run until I stoped spraying.

check to see if you have power at the fuel pump.but it sounds like fuel pump relay or bad fuel pump.does it have problems like this no matter how much fuel is in it?

1 Answer

It is most likely your main relay. You can replace it, or if you are somewhat mechanically incline do a google search on repairing main relay, and you will find info on repairing cracked solder (the reason the problem is intermittent).
