It is probably a faulty canister purge value, they typically run about 30 to 40 dollars...very easy to replace.. Its up by the engine on your vacuum hoses..look @ a diagram and you will see it..all you have to do is disconnect the hose replace the valve, put the clamps back on and unhook the battery cables for a few seconds to reset the check engine light...
