There is a wiper linkage that probably popped out of its pin, that happens when the silicon gets worn, just replace it or get someone to do it and you will be fine.

Passenger Side Windshield Wiper Broken

Hi Jill,
The first thing to check is a 13mm nut that holds the wiper arm in place.See if you can move the wiper arm freely back and forth. There is a nut at the base of that wiper arm,Lift up a cover that is hiding the nut. If it comes loose from being froze from ice or snow. Put the wiper in its rest position and tighten the nut back up.

Access to wiper motor

Sounds like the linkage has come loose. To access it, remove the cowling between the windshield and the hood. You'll see screws thru the grill in the cowling.
