Question about 1990 Honda Accord
When I ran a test light to the fuse panel it did not light up the indicator until I turned the headlight switch to the on position, then it lit up. Would this not suggest that the switch works?
It depends - I'm not positive on the Hondas, but if the fuse is before the switch, it would indicate that the switch can draw power from the battery. However, if the fault is inside the switch, and the contacts internally are screwed up, it could mean that although the switch draws power from the battery, it cannot transfer it out through the proper wires down to the bulbs. It could still be the switch with an internal failure.
