Question about 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT
I got this car off original owner with high milage. he said it had been rebuilt and should only have a prox 40k miles on it after service. as of right now i think th OD reeds 228k. it was running great till recently. i started to hear a light ticking noise in the motor kinda like when u run low on oil. i checked all the fluids put some oil in and a lil of that Marvins Mystery Oil stuff. it did seem to help a little and i was hoping it would get better. the noise started on a Monday and within 100 miles of driving it went form a tick to a loud tap....it sounds horrible. i'm no mechanic but i'd like to try and fix it myself. i don't have the ability to pay someone else. does anyone know what it might be and how hard it would be to fix it? no indicator lights are on, all the fluids are still full, it still starts and seems to have plenty of power but it did shut off on me the last time i drove it which was the day it went from a 2 to a 10 on the ticking noise scale.
Just burn your car and get el camino ese
