We have a '93 Chevy G-20 conv. van, will any other body styles from GM work for a replacement door hinge on the back door? Thanks

Go to a GM parts store and get the part number of the hinge. They will be able to tell you what vehicles that part number will be used on. Go on line for parts and see what vehicles use that part number. Go to a GM wrecker and see how many vehicles use the hinge you want.

i installed a new ignition switch but it wont start

Sorry about your car. You will need to reprogram the ignition system. Here's a company that has pages and adescription of how to reprogram the ignition switch on GM vehicles (for a smallfee). They are broken down into step bystep detailed instructions. Here is a link to that page. This covers many of the switches from 1997-2006to present. http://www.steeringcolumnservices.com/steering-column-repair-how-to-instructions/gm-buick-cadillac-chevrolet-oldsmobile-pontiac/Passlock-relearn.php Good luck Doug http://www.steeringcolumnservices.com
