Question about 2007 Honda Odyssey

Radio Code Needed

I drained the battery on my 2007 Honda Odyssey by leaving the key in all night after I closed the windows. The car is running fine now but the radio is asking for a code. Can you help?

My factory battery just died. I bought and installed a new battery and discovered that to reset the radio I need a code. I have read everything in the owner's manuel, looked at the quick start guide stuff, there is no card in my packet with any code. If I do talk to Honda: 1) does it cost money to get the code? 2) do you need numbers off the radio? 3) do I need to do take the radio out to do this? 4) This is dumb.

You need to remove your positive connection at the battery first. Now you connect one end of test light to battery clamp, and the other to battery. Make sure they have good contact. Test light will light up anytime there is a draw. The brighter the light, the more draw there is. Start by removing one fuse at a time and watch for light to go out, or at least dim quite a bit, and leave it out & record which one it was. The ideal way to do it is to remove all fuses, making sure light is out completely, then start re-installing them and watch for one that light comes on bright. That will tell you which circuit is causing the excess draw. If you think that will get you in trouble, or confused, just pull one at a time and if no difference in light, put it back in. Just leave those that make light dimmer, out, making sure you note where they go. That way if you have 2 or 3 with slight draw, (like radio, clock etc.,) but 1 with big draw, then you can zero in on that circuit as the culprit. Take's a little time, but it works.

Yes your radio need a code and you suppose to have it when you bought the car. So now call your dealer and ask for the code and i think they will ask for your information and your VIN number. Good luck

I changed my battery on my Ody Honda 2007 and the radio and clock are not working how do I correct this problem

I have 2002 Honda Ody and went thru battery hell and cost of replacing new batteries just to find out that the cheap radio CD player was shorting and rappidly draining all the batteries. The solution for me was install a $120.00 Alpine radio and replace all stock speakers with matching Alpine speakers. It will turn your Van into (The Alpine Room ) This stops the battery problem and the quaility of the sound system makes you forget the hell you went thru and also not hate Honda so much for putting the cheapest radio they could find in a $ 32,000 dollar vehicle.

2004 honda odessey radio code

Need to reenter the radio code, it's normally located in the glove box or behind the radio itself, once found you should have about 3 tries to enter the code, if more attempts are needed, disconnect the neg battery cable for 5 minutes and retry.
