Si a tenido choques o golpes fuertes en la parte frontal del vehiculo o atras debe haberse activado el sensor de impacto, esto causa que deje de enviar combustible al motor por razones de seguridad. tambien debe checarse los fusibles que indiquen fuel que este en perfectas condiciones

The only manufacturer that uses a physical switch that can be reset is ford. Your vehicle has not switch that can be reset for the fuel system.

If you explain the problem you are having I can more than likely help you work through it to find a solution.

The emergency fuel pump cut off switch reset is usually in the trunk but if you have the owner's manual you will find info in it. You can also call a dealer and ask where the reset is or try going to napaonline.com and do a search.

in the event of an accident, there is a safety cut-off switch the stops the fuel pump. there is a reset button normally located in the rear of the car and is marked "fuel cut-off reset switch". it's possible this switch tripped.

if you found the switch, simply press down to reset..check those fuel lines for damage first.

the hit from behind avtivated the fuel cut off switch, its in the boot left side above the water resivouar. it has a black rubber cover just push it down to restart the fuel pump

No fuel to engine. f250 460 cu engine. stalled on street


Check to make sure the fuel pump is working. On the fuel rail there is a test port that you can connect a mechanical gage too. Also there is a fuel cut out switch under the dash closer to the floor that has a reset button on it. If you hit a very hard bump it can trigger the cut out switch. It is designed so that upon impact in a collision it cuts the fuel supply to the engine to prevent an engine fire from leaking fuel. Sometimes these switches go bad, But, try the reset first and be sure to check that the fuel pump is working.
