MY 2004 PACIFICA'S SPEEDOMETER IS RUNNING HIGH AND THE OUTSIDE TEMP IS NOW READING IN CELSIUS. WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?

I would imagine that the car is fitted with some sort of menu where you can change the vehicle's readout settings into metric, so that now your car is reading in kilometers per hour and is also displaying temperature in the metric range.
You should access any in vehicle computer and reselect the ranges you wish to use.

Air conditioner suddenly stopped working and my outside temp on dash reads at ( - 40 )ever since.heater works fine

the sensor that reads the outside temperature may be the problem. The computer will not turn on the a/c if it is 40 below outside.

Where is the air filter on 2008 vw rabbit?

the air filter is in the engine cover.. the engine cover is also the air filter box.. you have to pull the cover off.. then flip it over and there are 4 screws holding the airfilter.. losen those screws then take the air filter out, replace it and put the screws back on.. then gently put the cover back ontop of the engine. make sure you fit the four holes with the the four studs exactly.

Climate controls are now in Celsius. HELP

On your DIC (driver information center) to the left you will see 3 buttons arranged vertically.
The ENG/MET button is used to switch between english and metric. Push that button until all displays are in english, that should return your climate control to fahrenheit.

Once you have completed that, push and hold the "reset" button down for 2 seconds ( button just below the ENG/MET button). That should reset you DIC to the default brightness as well as your other displays.

Give it a try and let me know.

Looking for the air filter to replace it

look for a round plastic tubing leading from the motor. will be a large diameter. the end away from the motor should have a large black plastic box closed by either screws or clips.... remove those clips and you will find the filter.
