I am looking at a second hand car with 141k mileage on it. The last service due was at 123k miles but was not done by the owner. My question is: Normally, what are major changes at 123k miles & their...

At 120k miles the following should have been preformed:
  • Powersteering Fluid Check
  • Steering/Front Suspension Check
  • Rear Suspension Check
  • Driveshaft Joints; Check for wear
  • Driveshaft; Check boots
  • Propeller Shaft Inspection
Also, after that at 127,500 miles a Bevel Joint inspection should also have been preformed.

Do you have the owners manual? It should tell you in there what all those indicator lights mean.

How much does it cost for a brakeline from master cylinder

Depending on which brake line (front or rear) you can get a preformed brakeline from a chevy dealer, or possibly a parts store if an aftermarked fix is available. If not a local service center can usually patch in a new piece of line at the problem spot. The price of the line that is preformed will be quite expensive. If you have a "patch" job done to the line, the parts will be minimal, but the labor can add up as the service people will possibly have to bend and flare the lines to make them work.. which takes time, and they will enerally charge you a flat"hourly" rate for the service, which can add up as well.

How to get rid of ''Service Now''!

Note: the Service Reminder Indicator displays 3 messages: OEL, IN 01, and IN 02. These display to alert the driver to follow the items listed under the manufacturer's service interval. To reset the message displays, turn the ignition switch on. Press and hold the odometer reset button "A" located below the speedometer. Turn off the ignition while holding the button. "OEL" will display on the indicator. Press and hold the lower digital clock reset button "B" until five dashes appear in the display. If needed, press the odometer reset button until "IN 01" appears and then press the clock reset button until five dashes appear. If needed, press the odometer reset button until "IN 02" is displayed and then press the clock reset button until five dashes appear. To exit reset mode, turn the ignition switch on and when "IN 01" appears, turn the ignition switch off
