My chevy venture runs then shuts off looks like is not getting power

Sounds like you have major damage. You better get it looked at before you cook the engine and cost major money.Don't try to drive it.

My 01 Chevy venture just got a new fuel pump put in gas gauge still isn't working proper so had another fuel pump put in same problem. My relay fuse is good fuel pump fuse is good. I have to have my wires checked, make sure my sensor on top of pump connector wires are good. What else can I be looking for?

fuel filter,dirty throtle body,air filter,IACV.

check blower relay. shorted.

Power drain on battery. Try cleaning the battery terminals and cables.

It sounds as though one of the proximity sensors is faulty. Also try giving the tracks for the door a good shot of white spray lithium grease. The door may be binding enough so that the emergency reverse is kicking in.

Change fuel pump relay.And check the fuses

If you can do it, run a jumper from the drivers door to the passenger door. Unplug both motors. try to run the passengers door off the drivers switch to rule out the motor. I don't think it is because the motor is dc. But this is the common point. Please mark this as helpful or fixya. Shuold you have anymore problems, I used to be a mobile mechanic electircian. check to see if all doors are shut tight,the same thing was happening to me,and it was the very back door that was the problem
