My 1986 Ford Bronco II It doesn't run

I had a guy friend come with me when I was buying it and we were told the fuel pump needs replaced, so we replaced the external pump and the filter. It ran fine for a little bit and then it started acting as though it isn't getting enough gas. My friend cleaned off the distributer parts and then saw that the condensor was bad and now the vehicle isn't running. Any ideas?

My 1986 ford bronco 2 has my battery light on and is burning up my fuel pumps, could they somehow be connected?

Could be but I doubt it unless it is a ground problem or something in the fuse-relay box.
You need to find out why the battery light is on. The light means the alternator is not charging the battery which could be a ground problem or a fuseable link as well as a faulty alternator.
Have you checked the voltage to the pumps to see if it is between 12 and 14 volts ?

1988 bronco II 60,000 miles .. guy replaced the exhaust manifold and removed altenator without unhooking battery and put back together and wouldnt start ...fuel pump not pumping ..i tried bypass wire got...

Well if he caused a short in the electrical system it could be the eec relay it is located on the passenger side under the hood on the fenderwell. Some are marked with what they do there can be 3-4 relays on it, the relays look like a small box with a connector at the bottom, and quite a few wires coming out. the one for the eec relay should be in the middle it was on my fathers 88 bronco 2. the fuel pump relay is the same thing, there cheap to buy and can find them at the parts store they are known for failure, just replace it..

My 86 bronco died sumtimes when i drove it. i wuz told it wuz tha fuel filter. i changed that and now it dies more. coil, wires, cap, rotor, and modulator are all new. could this be my fuel pump?

Take the car to Autozone or similar business for a free scan of the computer. Write down any codes listed. If you get a code for low fuel pressure, the pump is a good suspect. Hope this helps!

Where is the fuel pump on a 1986 ford bronco II v-6 fuel injected engine

the pump is on the top of the fuel tank and goes down inside the tank from there.

you have to drop the tank to get to the fuel pump.

The vehicle died during the morning warm up process, now it just cranks and won't fire. It turns over well, but won't start????

Do you have spark at the end of the plug wires? Have you changed your fuel filter lately? Just some things to check first.
