Hello, my instrument panel is broken. The Dealer says that he can not check the car with the fault diagnosis tool because he can make a diagnosis of the car only via a connector of said panel. Is it true or is he only trying to force me to buy a new panel?

Not likely a fuse. You need to have your airbag serviced by the dealer. Your airbag is not functioning properly when the light is on and may not deploy in a collision. You need to have the dealer plug in their diagnostic tools and find the fault.
The best is to call your local (nearest) Porsche dealer with your shasi number and they will provide you with the code.
Originaly it should be in your owners manual book.Little card with the code.
I have a Porsche boxster S 2001 the battery was dead but the alarm on the key was also broken when you put a donor battery to the fuse box it just sent the alarm off in the end I rang a Porsche breakers as people kept telling me about this cable to pull (PORSCHE DEALERS) wont tell you and I cud not find it on the english Boxster you have to take the tyre off (passenger side) there is a black panel near the indicator unscrew that and there is another panel which pulls off there is the cable
you could try to get two male connector charging cable. They sell it at the dealer or on ebay.
And charge the Porsche trough your cigarette lighter socket. For that you could use battery jumper as well.
You will need the system scanned. See dealer/specialist who have the tool to do this. Maybe air mass sensor, vapour sep issue or oxygen sensor. Fault should be logged in event history, so should not be too hard to pin point cause.
Sounds like a fuse or the instrument panel is dead. Either or. Check the fuses, then if their all good, then it's the instrument panel (as it is one whole piece). Before buying another panel, also check that it's all plugged in correctly in the back (as it could have been replaced (if it's used or if your not the first owner) and the previous owner could have put it in and not pushed the plug(s) in all the way.
