My dvd player will not turn on and has a click, click, clicking noise when I try to do so. No blue screen at all, remains black. I have had it in the dealer and they replaced with new one and tried new remote no solution.

There's another part to it other than just the DVD player and screen, can't remember it off hand, but I have seen it a few times.

Dome light short

... Sorry to hear about this.
Have you checked all the fuses; to see if they are good?

I would start with checking all the fuses, the dome light bulb and burnt wires. (burnt wires will smell) If you didn't smell plastic burning while hooking up the DVD player, then you're okay. But check anyway.

If you can't solve the problems, call the Toyota service department for help. They may be nice and give you some help.

Good Luck!

Dvd is stuck in my player

follow this steps and fix i.t God bless you

No power
  1. Check if the power cord has been properly connected to the power outlet.
  2. Check if the main power has been switched on.
(DVD player's power supply transformer could be burned out)
Screen is "frozen" or completely black, or Power button does not work
  1. Try turning the power off and wait 3 seconds before turning it on again.
  2. Make sure the TV and VCR (if connected) are set to the correct channel or line.

I have a chrysler grand voyager 2003plate, and i don't know how to work the built in dvd player, any ideas???? is there any switch on the dashboard?

There should be a button on the left hand side of the radio to switch between CD/DVD. Set to DVD and put a film on. Open the TV screen and it should work.

Tv or dvd player

Make sure that your dvd is electrically connected to your car. All you got to do is put it on by pressing the power button of the DVD. Then, press the dvd loading button open. Place the dvd on the loading tray, and push the button to close to load the dvd. Then press the triangle sign on the DVD to let it play. Then, you can press the volume to your preffered sound level.
