Question about 2003 Pontiac Sunfire
My daughter has a 03 sunfire. the passenger side low and high beams are real dim. changed bulbs nothing changed. her fog lights also don't work. changed those bulbs also.
I have a 2003 subnfire and my battery drain every night.
found out that my radio the monsoon 8 speaker system with the amp was the cause it even cause Dash lights to work and not to work. pulled stereo and amp no problem now. solved problem

I had that problem, and I thought it was the ground as well, but it turns out the splice in the wire harness sits at the absolute lowest level the bundle could, and it collects water. I opened mine up, and it was completely corroded. It appears there was a recall on this, but if you got yours used, as I did, you wouldn't have been notified.
I fixed that, but my fog lights are out now.

If all headlights are dim, you will want to look under the left hand headlight. The harness for the headlights runs under there between the rad support and the windshield washer fluid tank. It rubs and the insulation wears and the wire corrodes. You will need to unplug the large connector below the battery and remove the ground screw located under the battery box. You would pull the harness through the headlight access and you will see the damaged wire or wires. It is easier to do if you remove the left inner fender and the washer fluid holding tank.

See other post on headlight problem-probably same problem-I let a pro chase it and repair even though I'm pretty savvy and do many repairs-electrical shorts are a tuffy

You may have a bad headlight ground, you will need to find the ground(s) terminal for the head lights and make sure they are clean and tight, they should be near the headlights in the fender area under the hood.
