Question about Infiniti I35
SOURCE: Veracruz driver seat
Sorry to tell you, but if we're talking about an electrically operated seat, there's no short cut....The seat will have to be removed and then you'll have to sort out why the motor reversal does not work....Could be a bad connection..... If it's a manual operation then you'll have to find out where its stuck....

most likely the switch is bad if you disconnect the plug to the forward backwards motor the power should swap back and forth depending on which way thw switch is pushed if it doesnt switch is bad let me know how you make out

it could be the electrical switch that controls the motor, that is if there are two switches to the seat button which controls the motor.

The only way to solve this issue is to extract the seat and inspect. The front and back movement is different from the other actions that the seat may be able to do...
Look for damaged, dirty and miss aligned track components.

Testimonial: "It was helpful but my problem in taking the seat out is that it is stuck in the very extreme back position and i cannot get to the back nuts to remove"
