The valve body on a Saturn 2001 is located up top of the transmission under the battery area. This You Tube clip shows you how to replace the line pressure solinoid in the valve body. The whole valve body is a few more bolts. Plan on a few hours for the fist timer. But it's not that hard to do and you same alot of $$$.

You must remove the Trans pan, the valve body is inside the trans case under the pan, I would not suggest you do this job unless you have a high degree of technical skill, there are check balls and other factors that if not done right will cause the trans to not work properly.

Location for the input speed sensor (a) on 2001 3.0 saturn

Should be under the transaxle side case cover by the valve body. It is internal, unlike the output speed sensor. Transmission removal from vehicle is necessary.

Can not revers i give it plenty gas to move litle

valve body needs to be replaced, it is a very common problem on Saturns-you do not have to remove the transmission to replace it, and if you do it yourself it can be repaired for less than $200 total.

I have a 2001 Saturn SL2 and need to know thelocation of the tcc solenoid. Can U help?

TCC solenoid is located in the valve body on top of the transmission. Once you have the valve body top removed, the TCC solenoid is the third one from the left.

Hope this helps.

Saturn SC 2001 needs a valve body. any special tools or skills needed to replace. I'm pretty handy with cars but have little experience on transmissions.

None whatsoever, it is extremely simple. Requires an 8 and 7MM socket for the pan and connector on top. The valve body is right on top of the transmission underneath the battery box. It can be done in 45 minutes by someone who hasn't done it before. Just remove the battery, battery tray, and intake and it's right there.

Do you have a rebuilt valve body yet? If not I'm in the business of rebuilding them and selling them, ready to be dropped in. You can check my ad listing for more details. Includes instructions with pictures and e-mail tech support.

1995 saturn stalls when stopped in gear replaced temp sensor changed plugs, idles fine when in park.

I'd concentrate on IAC (idle air control) valve/motor . Removing it & cleaning with throttle body cleaner & port it comes out of, will sometimes cure problem, but if it happens again, replace it.

When shifting automatic trans in reverse theres a hesitation

I think what you were saying is your reverse slams, and only when you give it gas.
You can try to do the reverse slam fix, which is easy to do:
Reverse slam fix

If it doesn't work, your valve body is probably bad, here is how to swap it, in case you are up for the challenge:

Won't go into reverse but will go into park and drive

Sure sounds like a valve body issue to me, have you done any work yourself on it to get the reverse to go on drive?
Here is an article about valve body removal:
