If its is exhaust leak you need to check it for that you need service manual :

Please use this link to download the service manual its for 1996 which is similar to 200 model :

Good luck....

How do I know that the problem why my car goes slow and it has no pick up is because of the exult leak...

An exhaust leak isn't going to slow your car down. The spark plugs probably weren't gapped correctly. You need to check a manual or a forum for your car to find out the correct spark plug gap, go to a car parts store and buy a spark plug gapping tool ($1), and pull the plugs out and check them. The tool is VERY SIMPLE and easy to use. If it's not that, take it to a shop or describe in full detail what the car is doing. You can email me at MarcStinebaugh@yahoo.com

I bet he got the firing order wrong putting the spark plug wires back on. That's why you THINK there's an exhaust leak, because it's firing wrong, and that's why there's no pick up (power). Bet money on it.

I'm not familiar with your car ... but does it have ordinary ht ignition leads, or colour coded ignition wires?
If it has colour coded ignition wires - each wire is a different colour for each different plug.

The image below is for a 4 cylinder engine:

Mazda millenia 2000 2.3L S, is shaking while accelerating and very bedly shaking after rain

Could be weak spark plug wires or cap and coil. Electricity will jump to ground instead of thru the spark plugs if the wires are wet.

Replace coils

On the Millenia, each plug has its own coil; there is no distributor. The coils are connected directly to the spark plugs on each cylinder.its easy just change them one at a time on my dodge intrepid there was two bolts holding the coil pack to the engine and the wire that pluged into the side of the coil pack its a clip harness be careful not to break it theres a tab push down on tab on top and it slides off of coil pack

Exhaust leak? Please describe. Make sure correct spark plugs were used (I think gap distance makes a difference, but ask a local mech or store parts employee) and the intake manifold is put back on with correct torque specs. Make sure there are no leaks in the air intake hose, air box, etc as this will effect performance.
