and the compressor clutch drops out?

I have a 2001 w3500 with a 5.7 in it. The truck developed an oil leak today and almost burned to the ground. A line leaving the back of the alternator to the back top of the motor cracked and leaked oil...

There is no oil lines going to the alternator. A power steering pressure hose is probably what you are referring to as it may go behind the alternator. If you go to any auto parts store they will be able to look up the hose for you.

Do you know where i can find a 'vacuum diagram' for a turbo 350 transmission (1980 chevy blazer...stalls when you put it in gear)

There is usually only one vacuum connection on a turbo 350. It connects to the modulator valve on the side of the transmission. This valve uses engine vacuum to determine transmission shift points. The other end usually connects to a direct engine vacuum source. A "direct source" is a hose connection on the throttle body that has a vacuum signal available at idle. If it doesn't, then it's considered a "ported source".I have had some experience with the chevy blazer/gmc jimmy series, both the early large body models and the small body versions. The stalling when put into gear complaint is most likely caused by a bad intake gasket which is common on the older versions with the small block V8 motors. The newer versions with the vortek motors also had allot of trouble with throttle body gaskets. If these problems have not already been addressed, then there's a good chance that it will take care of the problem. Other possible sources of vacuum leaks are the pcv hose that is hard and brittle. Check the hose out carefully, especially the side that normally faces the engine. Check the throttle body bolts (carburetor bolts) for tightness. I hope that this information is helpful to you. i had the same problem with my 2002 w3500 and what it ended up being was the butterfly valve for the exhaust brake which is located in the intake just as you take off the turbo line, disconnect the vacuum line on the actuator that goes to that valve and that should tell you if thats your problem

2005 yukon air conditioning not blowing, rear works fine.Front blower motor out?

The best thing to do would be to remove the blower motor and use a set of jumper wires to connect it to a battery or battery charger. If it works, the problem is the blower resistor. They are a common problem with GM products
