You said , dash had been removed and dealers said they are ok. but if they did not return it in order. what if they did not put it back in its original position that is why less air is coming out on passenger side or heater vent is venting on passenger side. you have to look at them yourself.

2005 pt cruiser ac is full of freon but will not blow cold air

Are all the pressures correct, 28-32 PSI on the low side pressure port? check it. If they are you may need a blend door replaced, this requires the dash be removed form the car completely.

Instructions to replace a blower motor in a 2005 Dodge 3500 1 Ton Diesel Truck?

It's located on the passenger side under the dash. There are 4 to 6 screws that hold it in. If you know for sure it is bad replace it, but it could be the resistor, it is located right beside it. these can go bad also. In most cases the blower will work on high, but not on lower settings, this would be the resistor, not the blower.
Good luck

To replace throw out bearing in a 2005 dodge 3500 diesel do I have to pull out tranny or can I pull the housing instead?

The transmission will have to be removed because the input shaft of the trans goes into a pilot bushing in the rear of the crankshaft. Not fun with a heavy trans but it's the only way.

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 with a cummins diesel that the heating system does not work. It only blows out cold air? I have replaced the thermostat but no improvement. Can you help? CK

I had a 2001 Dodge 3500 with the same issue. In my case, the "air blend door motor" failed. I had it fixed at a Dodge dealership - the motor itself was only about $125 but it cost another $900 for labor - they had to remove the dash & center dash console in order to get to the motor. It did fix the problem though.

Broken heater core in 2005 dodge ram 3500

The Heater core is difficult to replace on the RAM since it is buried in the plenum box. The box has a convenient door panel that you can open to remove and replace the core. The catch is that the convenient door is on the back of the box and you have to remove the heater box to get to it. This involves removing the steering wheel, steering column, complete dash panel, evacuating the AC, draining the radiator, and finally removing the heater box. Once you have the box out(8-12hrs), the core is simple to replace.

You want to be sure that the core is the problem before you undertake this process. If there is a strong smell of antifreeze in the cab or a puddle of coolant on the passenger side floor, the diagnosis is easy.

Check that the radiator is full, not the overflow tank, the radiator. On a cold engine you can remove the radiator cap and check the level. It should be full. If there is air in the system it will affect cab heating and engine cooling.

Another good check is to feel the two heater hoses going into the firewall from a cold start. The hoses should warm up at about the same rate and get uncomfortably hot-close to radiator temperature.

If the core appears to be OK, the next concern is with the blend doors that divert air through the heater core. This is a common failure on the RAM. Check for an explanation of the operation of the system and a fix for the common problems. The RAM has four different DC servo motor controlled air flow doors that are susceptible to failure and all of these need to be checked by either observing the symptoms of failure or reading the codes. The problems are easy to fix with the HeaterTreater kits, but the OEM dealer fix requires removing the plenum box as described above. It is a costly repair if you take it back to the dealer and are not under warranty.

Freon level full but clutch wont engage on a 3500 2007 dodge pickup . It is a diesel. power to clutch .46000 miles on pick up.

find the reciever dryer you will see a two wire device connected to it, pull it off and install a paper clip in it with enginge off then start and see if the ac cools, if it does replace the switch it just unscrews and is called the low pressure switch.
