  • threel Jul 28, 2008

    solution from #1 is wrong; full freon

  • threel Jul 28, 2008

    solution #2 is wrong--not exposed to any clogging or mice

  • threel Jul 28, 2008

    answer #3; wrong; no one has answered with any correction; everybody is guessing; I am not paying for guessing;

Ok when the aircon is going though it goes though black pipes from under neith the dash.

if its weak one side the blck pipe will have air getting into it,

caused by a hole from a animal
one tube might have come loose
or its been squashed a bit

If you checked the coolant and the gauge was in the "blue." So, it did not need coolant. If you checked the fuses then it is fine and everything was okay there too. Then the problem is in the compressor ,try to check your compressor..

hope this may help;

This is most likely caused by clogging since one side works fine and the other does not. Sometimes pollin or even mice can get into these things.

    please check the heater valve, it could be leaky that is why hot water is coming inside the car, heating up the core without you knowing it.

    check also the recycle door. it could be getting the intake air from the ourtside and not from the inside where it should ...

    tnx again

Instructions to replace a blower motor in a 2005 Dodge 3500 1 Ton Diesel Truck?

It's located on the passenger side under the dash. There are 4 to 6 screws that hold it in. If you know for sure it is bad replace it, but it could be the resistor, it is located right beside it. these can go bad also. In most cases the blower will work on high, but not on lower settings, this would be the resistor, not the blower.
Good luck

Take off the air cleaner box.. there is two electrical connectors on passenger side.. remove the jump post on the driver side.. now remove the top
engine cover.. 6 plastic screws... the fuel filter is in the valley in front of the turbo.

Can you hear the turbo spooling up? If yes do you hear an air noise... could a number of things from bad turbo, air to air leaking or its piping, or something simple like a clogged fuel or air filter.

A/c cooling

you said , dash had been removed and dealers said they are ok. but if they did not return it in order. what if they did not put it back in its original position that is why less air is coming out on passenger side or heater vent is venting on passenger side. you have to look at them yourself.

tnx,
