Question about 1999 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup
I have been a victim from last months flooding. my truck has a little water inside the gas tank. all i need to know is where can i find the hose that is used to compress the water out of the gas tank or if there is a much easier way to just take out the tank and empty it out without raising the truck or special tools
You can unhook the fuel line and turn the key on. nearly everything will pump out the hose. there will be some left in the tank.
A fuel tank is held on with two bolts holding the ******** the tank. a ratchet wrench can take this loose. And the neck filler is held on with a hose clamp (screwdriver). Watch the fuel lines and the wiring when you unhook it.
