If it wasn't missing before you changed the wires, it's most likely you crossed one of the wires. Find out the firing order on your vehicle, this will tell you which one is crossed. when ever you change wires, it's best to do it one wire at a time. Hope this helps.

Check compression in number three. You could have bought a bad engine. And yes. You need to change every sensor. If they don't match with the plugs. replace the engine. There is a reason for different engine codes. You should have stuck with them.

Wiring is messed up on ford ranger wires are missing on the engine

What wires? Are you asking about spark plug wires? If so buy a set of custom fit new plug wires and then tell me the engine size and I will post a diagram of the wiring.

Engine missing Have to change sparkplugs every three months to stop problem. This is not normal what is the problem 2000 ford range 4.0 119,000 miles. When I accelerate the tranmission change the engine...

First replace oil and filter in the transmisson next replace the spark plug wires and coat both ends of the wire with dielectric greese this should eliminate your problems. Also do a top engine clan to get rid of carbon build up and clean te throtle plate front side and back plus the port hole the plate is located in. Whith the throttle plate not fully closed it allows unburnt fuel to be depostied on the plate and causes it to run poorly.

Try putting a bottle of injector cleaner through it and see if it clears up at all. It may be that you have a little carbon build up. If that does'nt help you may need new spark plugs and/or wires. The coil may be on its way out too, but I would replace the cheap stuff first. If you end up replacing the spark plugs make sure they are gapped properly before installing them. They rarely come from the store gapped to the specification that is in your operators manual. Hope this helps. God bless

the fuel injector may be faulty in that cylinder

Rough running, erratic spark

Run a compression test on the cylinders. If reading is low on any drop a little engine oil into the pot. If compression rises you have compession ring problems. Remove all plugs before you try this and place leads away from engine.
