Question about 1992 Mazda 626

Low beam lights will not come on, honk horn lights come on, right light is out one day, left light is out the next.... Mazda Protege 5 2002.

When I turn on the headlights the brakelights come on ,when the headlights are off they(brakelights) work normal ,but the dash lights come on when I step on the brake

Hi,

It would seem that you have a loose connection that is aggrevated by jarring as when the horn sounds off. You could try simulating by opening your hood, turn on your low bean and tapping on the grills or radiator. If yes, you have confirmed the loose connection, it is now a matter of determining where, cleaning the terminals (probably needs scrapping, might be burned or corroded).

1999 mazda protege lo beams don't work, hi beam light on with low or hi. Fuses good, no relay


the relay is built into the switch itself which is likely what is faulty.

Fuse #8, #18 and #22.

Low beam headlight


either the connection from the wire is corroded or the headlight simply needs replacying, my bet is the latter.
