We have the same problem with our 2002 Liberty. Last week we came home to find the battery drained, and the back door latch clicking. The clicking went away as soon as I put a battery charger on. Our mechanic said nothing showed up on the diagnostics machine he used. Of course the problem would not appear for him. Was not able to find any evidence of a recall on this.

Why does my 2002 jeep liberty keep blowing the #34 fuse?

This is most likely a short in one of the door wires. It could be very hard to locate.

I have a 2003 jeep liberty and the interior lights keep flashing on and off while I am driving. They are dong this more and more frequently. Any suggestions?

there are 3 things that could cause this. Lets rule out one, The BCM, these usually will work or not work, not saying that it couldn't be the problem, but not very likely. The next will be the door latch in the door jam. This is where they put the dome /interior light switch among other things. Next would be the dimmer switch in the dash. My guess is that it isn't the switches themselves, but the wires going to them. I personnally would check the door first as this moves the most. Check for wires that are worn or showing wire. It sounds as if the hot wire is hitting the other wire going to the lights and activating them. Then check at the light dimmer switch. I don't rule out the switches through. But normally when a switch goes bad it will heat up and loose contact. ie... headlight switch, thus turning the headlights off.

2002 Jeep Liberty left rear taillight bulb blown. Do I have to take interior panel off to get to the replacement of the bulb?

Yes,It's actually pretty simple, if your somewhat mechanically enclined.
I've only had to replace one or 2 bulbs in my 02' liberty within 95K miles.
The interior trim will either pop out or you have to twist these big plastic
hold downs to get access to the bulb holders. Pretty easy stuff. just
make sure you replace the two filiment bulbs with the correct ones and
vice versa with the single filament bulbs. Good luck.

Interior light flashes for 2 seconds when car is off every 4 min

This is a common issue with the Liberty. The dashlights and dome
lights would dimm, when using the turn signals. I'm not 100 percent, but
think it was a faulty signal switch. Good luck.

2002 Jeep liberty back glass. The interior rubber

You might consider thoroughly cleaning the area on both the glass and the piece you are trying to adhere to it, then getting "Rearview Mirror Adhesive", available in your local auto parts store for >$10.

Follow the directions on the product precisely, and the handle should stay on there for you.
