P0700 codes are Transmission DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes)...

The specific codes are Incorrect Gear Ratio codes. This problem could be caused by low transmission fluid, deteriorated transmission fluid, a shift solenoid malfunction, the transmissions line pressure, quite a few electrical problems, etc. First step would be to check the fluid level the correct way. The vehicle must be up to operating temperature, and the shifter must be in the Neutral position. Also look at the color of the fluid. If the fluid is no longer the right condition, (most of the time it is bright red) it will be brown, or darker looking. Also smell the fluid, it may smell burnt. If this is the case, the clutch may also be slipping. In conclusion, if the fluid is NOT the problem, you may need to have the transmission tested by a certified technician. Hope this helps you.

'99 Concorde won't shift into third. It kind of jerks when it hits second or downshifts into first. Check engine light is on. OBD codes are: P0734,P0731,P0733,P0700

all the codes listed above are saying incorrect ratio for each gear, you should take this to a dealer he can determine which faulty sensor on the transmission is causing this,it is not a internal transmission problem
