Dirty throttle body . Does it run good when you step on the gas pedal ? driving down the road . Don't guess , do fuel pressure testing . Videos on youtube showing how , fuel pressure tester under $30 most part stores .
Sounds like you have a bad cylinder...
This could be due to a number of reasons...
No spark at one cylinder, due to a bad spark plug, coil, or wire.
No fuel due to a bad injector
Bad cylinder with low or no compression
did you just replace the plugs or replace ignition wires, rotor, and cap (or) ignition coils if applicable? and you check whether its fuel or spark problem by running the engine and taking the plug wire off the spark plug and seeing if there is spark and noting any change in the engine, if the engine runs rough(er) or stalls then you know there is no problem spark related with that cylender, if no change occours when you take the plug wire off the plug then you know there is either a no spark condition (you will be able to see if this is the case) or if there is spark and it is a fuel problem. self explanatory, if everything you test for passes then you probably have internal engine damage. recommended that you use rubber grip pliers when you take the plug wires off while the engine is running, do not ground yourself. Hope this helps! Joseph.
sounds as thou thoses 2 clyinders are running rich either from excesive fuel aka bad injectors or drivability issues bad map sensor leaking intake ? need to scan ecm readings check all the sensors ? are you sure coil pack not failing ?
I would check the codes first, with OBDII systems the codes will give you a good idea of what my be doing it, the ETS off is your Electronic Traction-control System, either you have the emergency brake pulled up or it is a seperate issue,
things that may cause your symptoms are,
bad fuel pump-check fuel pressure,
bad MAPS-running the codes should show you if it is but you can also do a diagnostic test
misfire-same as the MAPS, codes will let you know which cylinder then it would be a matter of replacing spark plug and wire(I can't stress enough on getting high quality plugs and wires), if that does not fix the misfire then a compression test is in order
bad coil pack(s)-misfires on two cylinders that are on the same pack, sorry but I do not remember which cylinders are fired by which pack but if you follow the plug wires over to the pack you will see,
vacuum leak-hard to identify but may also have something to do with your ETS light, check the booster vacuum hose for cracks
bad IAC-again the codes should tell you but they may not,
there is the points that I would start off with, I hope that I have been helpful
simple problem like misfire and the garage cant find it come on get the car out of there if everything was done properly and i dought that you need to check the compresion of the cylinder is bad chip valve bad ring one time i fix a sunfire the rocker came of open the valve cover check the rocker on the valve maybe one of if rocker of the comppression will show gone good spark gone injector let me know hope it help FIXYA OUR POST THANKS PIERRE
