Check you have a spark at your ht leads, i.e, turn the engine over holding a lead to the engine, if you can see the spark, then your spark plugs need cleaning/changing, if not check your distributor brush as sometimes the carbon brush wears on v8 land rovers.

Can I get a spark plug wiring diagram for a 1998 land rover range rover 4.0 V8? I can't find anything by googling it..

There is a single High Tension Lead that goes from the spark plug cap to the coil pack.

Or do you mean firing order from coil pack to plugs? Which wire goes from what cylinder to which coil?

Check fuel pump, fuel pump relay, and also check inertia switch. In ertia switch is usually located inside the cabin on the driverside fire wall on most Ford products.

Firing order for a v8 range rover

If it's a 4.0L-(V-8) firing order is 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2. There are about 3 or 4 different V-8's for those, so need to know for sure which one it is.
