I tried to jump start a 1994 Chrysler Eagle vision and now it wont start jump started from dead battery

improper grounding during a jump start can damage the ignition module. never ground to the battery, rather pick someplace on the engine as far from the battery as you can.

97 buick century was running after jump started, when put in reverse it died and wont start when jump start, no chimes or lights come on at all

Dangerous practice to try & jump a near dead battery

Always try charging a battery, that is only a couple years
old & not run down more than two or three times

If the battery is dead & reads less than 12 volts, have a parts
store test it or just replace it.

Jumping a cars battery is not a fix for anything,so I fail to
see how your lost & have not addressed the battery issue,
so you can continue on with other testing,if needed

Yah sure check the fuel pressure on the manifold, ur belt tension and altenator. But a very common problem with jeeps is the crankshaft positioning sensor. Check and make sure ur gettin fire. If ur not could also b the ignition control module in the distribitor.

Car runs with jump turn off wont start

have you replaced the battery? generally if it starts and runs with a jump start, then the alternator is working to keep it running, but the battery is bad./has a bad cell in it.

Manufacturer control yukon gmc im getting a code my truck wont start with out a jump but my battery is charged

If your truck starts with a jump, you need a new battery. Your battery may show a full charge, but it may have a dead cell, or worse. Replace the battery and you should be alright. While you are at the Auto Parts store you should get the code scanned and report back what the code is.

Has power but wont start.maybe alternator.

The battery is Dead. It has the volts to run the lights and radio witch use very little power. The problem is the battery does not have the amps (a whole lot of power)
to turn over the engine. A jump start may work. It might need a good charge. If the battery is over 4 years old it may and should be replaced. They only last 4-5 years
