I need significantly more information than that to try and help you - what kind of performance are we talking? Acceleration? Fuel mileage? Also, under what conditions? When the car is warmed up, or when it's cold, or after being warm and then cooling down a bit? As much info as you can give will help greatly in figuring out what's going on with your car.

My brakes wont hold I recently replaced pads and shoes but the problem still persists

When people say their brakes won't hold they are usually referring to the parking brake rather than the footbrake performance.

Low parking brake effort can be a nightmare to overcome and can take a deal of experience to recognise the possible causes.

Poor footbrake performance usually is associated with inferior friction material and/or contaminated or worn brake drums and discs though could be a failing servo unit or poor vacuum supply.

Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.5 L poor engine performance, very flat. Good idle, not missing. Could the timing chain be the cause. No codes when scanned.

I would suggest a compression test as an engine with those miles on it will be close to being badly worn
If thee is a chain problem it will not be running

Eratic idling and at full throtle the car is jerking and hezitate its an 2 liter dohc petrol engine

The reason for your poor performance of the engine can be related to poor settings of the engine.
It is important to know if the scheduled maintenance was done according to the maker's specifications.
Now make sure the oil, oil filter, the fuel filter was changed. make sure that the fuel pump is working to the correct settings/calibration.check the fuel in tank , if there is impurities or water. if so clean and refill. Finally check the timings on the spark, check the spark intensity, if not check the HT coils, the trigger to the HT coils, the HT wires and the spark plugs.
You will need to check each of these to determine the poor performance

Tighten The cable! a loose connection will have poor condutivity and therefore prevent propper charging (and poor vehicle performance).

I've got a 2001 pontiac sunfire and I can't get the performance it once had. The car accelerates slow. I've replaced the air filter, oil and oil filter, transmission fluid, fuel filter, exhaust, and used...

Is your catylitic converter blocking up? It may be causing the problem. Too much back pressure will cause poor performance & poor acceleration. It may be time to change it. Good luck!

I filled up my 2002 Mazda MPV yesterday at Walmart, Manning

Could be bad gas, water in the gas? Run the tank down to about 1/4 and put gas from somewhere else in it. Maybe higher octane for one tank full. Maybe put an additive in with it. If it clears up, then it was the gas.
