I have a 08 Chevy impala. I have no brakes I have replace the brake pads the calipers and the master cylinder still no brakes

Did you bleed the system of air? You will need to bench bleed the master cylinder. Then you will have to bleed the brakes at the bleeder valve on the calipers. Start with the wheel the is farthest from the master cylinder and work around the vehicle until you get to the closest one. Unless you have self bleeding valves you will have to have two people an do a little reading.

How to bleed chevy abs module

With your system it is bled thru with the regular brake bleeding. If you recently replaced the pads and pushed the fluid back thru the ABS and didn't open the bleed valves on the calipers or cylinders. you probably blew the seals in the ABS. You will have to replace it.

Bleed rear brakes on a 1979 monte carlo

It should be the same as any other car, you find the bolt on the brake pad or drum that connects the line to the system (it will look like a nipple) then loosen it,. This is a lot easier if you have another person. You have the second person push down on the brake peddle three quick times and then slowly push it in until brake fluid squirts out from the bolt. Then tighten the bolt back up and repeat for all brakes. Note: you may need to put in more brake fluid when your done and the process may need to be repeated it all the air doesn't come out of the lines.

I have a 2004 Chevy Malibu. I have replaced the front brake pads, calipers and rotor and bled the brakes but they are still mushy. I heard that they have to be gravity bled. My question is: Do the brakes...

no,to gravity beed just open bleeder remove master cylinder cap & dont let it go empty.
if you only opened the front you may just need to bleed the front.some times pumping up
brakes before bleeding will help start the gravity bleed.

good luck

1999 Chevy Tahoe- Soft Brake Pedal

Try having the dealer flush and bleed your system. It is very hard to bleed ABS systems yourself and have safe brakes that still work afterward. Bleeding non-ABS brakes yourself is easy not the same for ABS brakes. Valving, sensors and what-not require a tech and the correct equipment in my opinion. You do it wrong and you could ruin your ABS system. Do that and see if they firm up. I replaced my brake shoes/pads at the same time all new everything in back, drums/springs everything and new rotors up front. then I had the chevy dealer flush, refill and bleed system. Stiffer pedal and brakes work better. Keep in mind the brakes on 99 Tahoes are inaedequate, require new rotors often, heat up and fade/glaze pads regularly. I replace my pads long before they wear down because they glaze up and start fading early. I'll rough em up once maybe, next time, new ones. Every two brake jobs, new rotors for me. Just how it is. They will stiffen a bit and work better but they will never be awesome brakes. Just how it is on 99 and earlier Tahoes. Hope it helps. Very important to bleed correctly though. I'll bleed my 83 Toyota 4x4 myself but not the Tahoe.

LOW BRAKE PEDAL ON 4 WHEEL DISK BRAKES

Check the pads/rotors to see if they need to be replaced.
Check the brake fluid level. If low it could mean the pads/rotors need to be replaced. If replacing also replace the brake fluid.
Two years probably means you need a brake job.

Otherwise you may have air in the brake lines which you can bleed off.

1999 Chevy S10 Blazer 4x4. Replacing rear pad's,& Bleeding Breaks

have one person in the blazer pumping the brake pedal and then hold to the floor, crack the bleeder then tighten, release pedal, repeat till all air is out one side at a time, if this does not work then your ABS unit is bad witch if u follow your lines from your master cylinder u will find a black box with a motor on it, or the master cylinder itself is bad, it also can cause u to have no pedal, replace the master cylinder first, most likely cheaper.
