Check the fuse. I had the same problem 2 summers ago. I checked the fuse myself, and fixed the problem for about $2.00!

You would need to find out if the compressor continues to run when the cold air stops.

Yesterday my air conditioner was blowing cold air today its blowing warm air what happened

if the compressor is turnning it could be you have developed a leak,or it could be that the air door which separates the heat from the ac is stuck open.vacume problem.if the compressor is not turnning it could be your low on freon,or an electrical issue.like a fuse or relay.

The AC on my 93 Buick Park Ave used to blow ice-cold. About a week ago it went out, and so my husband charged it. Yesterday it was out again. We got a freon/stopleak/leakfinder to put in, and the AC...

sorry it has a leak ,only way to fine it is to use the correct machine and vacumn it out ,then turn machine off and listen for a sucking sound ,most likely cause is the flexible hoses/compression fittings or the seal on the front of the AC compressor ,if you still cannot find the leak then fill AC with a special dye and use a ultra violet light and yellow glasses to find the leak .

I have a 01 focus and at the ac compressor pulley it rattles, ac doesn't have to be on for it to do this. Ac was still working fine until yesterday stopped blowing cold air. Any idea on what would have...

well if the a/c has quit working .....the compressor probly finally failed....most times when the clutch hub begins to rattle or becomes real loose it has already worn the compressors snout....that cannot be fixed ...you need a new compressor .......

My a/c blows but not cold.

First you need to confirm that your compressor is actually working. to do this have someone turn the ac on while you are looking at the motor. You should hear a click and the motor bog down a bit this means the compressor is working ( if this dosnt happen you need a new compressor). After you do this let me know what happens and i can assist you from there. feal free to contact me at coopscuztoms@gmail.com for more insight.

Car AC stopped blowing cold, compressor turns on, Freon at 45

you are going to have to put tracer dye in the system and check for leaks
if no leaks then might be low on freon and or there is a resistance in one of the lines

I have a 2000 dodge ram 1500. The air conditioner blows just warm air. The system was working when engine was shut off but did not work properly upon restart today. The AC/Max A/C switch seems to work...

If the compressor is outputting cold freon maybe the vent in the dash is not opening to allow the air to flow thru the condenser. Try operating the heat/cool switch and the recirculting air control in an effort to get it to open the damper.

The problem might be that you got out of freon gas.
