Have you actually removed the cap. some of the european cavaliers had the dipstick built into the cap itself.
failing that, look carefully near the bulkhead quite close to the gearbox, they sometimes hide the dipstick out of the way down there.

Where is fill to add automatic trans fluid to 2008 BMW 650i under the hood?

The automatic transmission fluid fill location on a 2008 BMW 650i can vary depending on the specific model and transmission type, but generally it is located under the hood and accessed through a dipstick tube.

To locate the dipstick tube for the automatic transmission fluid, follow these steps:

1. Open the hood of the vehicle and locate the transmission fluid dipstick. The dipstick handle is usually yellow, red, or black and is labeled with "ATF" or "trans."
2. Remove the dipstick from the tube and wipe it clean with a lint-free cloth or paper towel.
3. Reinsert the dipstick all the way back into the tube and then remove it again. The fluid level on the dipstick should indicate the current level of transmission fluid.
4. If the fluid level is low, you will need to add automatic transmission fluid. To add fluid, remove the dipstick and use a funnel to pour the fluid into the dipstick tube. Be sure to use the correct type of transmission fluid specified in your owner's manual.
5. Check the fluid level again with the dipstick to make sure it is at the correct level. Add more fluid as needed.

Note: It is important to follow the recommended procedure for checking and adding transmission fluid to your BMW 650i to avoid overfilling the system, which can cause damage to the transmission. If you are unsure about the location of the dipstick or how to properly add fluid, consult your owner's manual or a qualified mechanic for assistance.

How do I check the trans fluid in my 08 Jeep Liberty. It didn’t come with a dipstick

With automatic tranny, you should have the dipstick tube and it is caped. Note the dipstick in the picture. 9336 . Did you read your owners manual? Make sure the dipstick will work with your vehicle. You don't leave the dip stick in. Hopefully the dip stick comes with instructions. Your owners manual says to check automatic tranny fluid, engine running. Hope info helps.

2012 grand caravan can't find the transmission dipstick

Doesn't have one , like most newer vehicles . Could have a cap on top of trans/axle to add fluid . Probably a plug on the side of trans/axle to check fluid level . Take out the plug and if transmission fluid drips out , it's full . Don't know why they are doing it that now .To make sure call the dealer . Or look at owners manual

Transmission dip stick keeps popping out

check trans. fluid level per owners manual. The high operating temperatures cause fluid to expand greatly,an over-filled transmission can actually force excess fluid out of the dip stick tube.check level with trans. hot, engine running in park on a level surface. After driving, place shifter in park, hold brake and move shifter through all gears and back to park.remove dipstick, wipe clean,re-insert and check fluid level.normally, trans fluid & filter should be changed +/- 100 k miles

Got 2006 mustang and like to change automatic trans fluid/filter...no problem their, but where do you fill it back up again since dip stick tube is gone.

Some new vehicles dont have dipsticks for trans level check....depending engine size but it still has a fill tube in same area.....At back of engine toward the passenger side just like the older models......It will have a Normally black plastic cap that reads dealer service or something pertaining to service......It is hard to see...The dealer has a special dipstick that reads in degree levels and that is how they check it.....So it is still the same but no dipstick...You will have to look in owners manua lto find how much it holds...Although BE SURE THE LEVEL THAT YOU READ IS FOR THE PAN CAPACITY ONLY AND NOT WITH TORQUE CONVERTER....It should not hold more than 4 or 5...You can just measure what comes out by pouring it in empty court bottles
If you dont have a manual............................Hope this helps ................metalpoet

I replaced the trans in my 1991 ddge stealth es and trans fluid came out where do i putit back in at?

You add trans fluid through the trans dipstick tube (NOT the engine oil dipstick). Check your owners manual for the proper method to test the level, most cars lately you check the level with the trans fully warm, in Park, engine running, parked on a level surface. (Set the parking brake, block the wheels.) You will need a long funnel, available at any auto parts store. Do NOT overfill the transmission, as this will cause damage to it.
Use the correct type of trans fluid, check your owners manual.

Check transmmision fuild

locate the transmission dipstick on the right or left side of the engine, toward the rear of the engine. it is similar to the oil dipstick, which is probably marked "engine oil" anyway. make sure the engine is hot and running. take the dipstick out and wipe it clean. notice the hash marks and writing inscribed on the stick. the level should be between the hash mark area for the "hot" marks. if it is low, but visible on the stick, add a 1/2 pint to a pint at a time. DON'T OVERFILL. use the correct trans fluid. probably MERCON V, the trans fluid type might be marked on the stick. it's also in the owners manual.

if you have a manual trans, you'll have to get under the vehicle and remove the fill plug located on the left side upper part of the trans. it has a fairly large head and should be easy to spot. use your finger to check the level. it should be 1/2 inch from the top of the hole.

Check trans fluid level on 2000 malibu with no dipstick

There is a red fill cap on the transmission bell housing under the brake master cylinder. You'll have to look real hard to see it. There is also a bolt on the passenger side of the transmission that you remove to check the level. Transmission must be warm and the engine running. You add fluid until it runs out the bolt hole. Typical GM engineering. Just check the owners manual. It should tell you something about this.

Where is the transmission fluid located? how to get a manual for free?

There is a transmission dip stick on the side of the engine, this is used to check the trans fluid level. The engine oil dipstick has a large diameter plastic cap, and is on the left/driver's side of the car (in North America); the trans dipstick has two notches at the bottom when removed and a label telling the fluid to use. The best source of info on this car is the "Bentley Bible" aka the Saab 900 Official Service Manual, costs about $40 from Amazon! 16 valve manual: http://www.amazon.com/Saab-900-Valve-Service-Manual/dp/0837603137 8 valve manual :http://www.amazon.com/Eight-Official-Service-Manual-1981-1988/dp/0837603102 get the appropriate manual for your car and enjoy the Saab!. + If this helps, please give a "thumbs up", thanks. saabreur

1996 Ford Taurus 3.0 v6

Check the fluid as recommended by Ford. Do u have the owners manual? It will give the procedure. I'm quite sure your Taurus trans fluid is checked at operating temp w/ engine running, in park. U can also check the dipstick, Ford usually has the procedure engraved on the dipstick. The reason for checking the fluid as Ford tells u to, is because their method will give an accurate reading. As u can see from checking the fluid in 2 different ways, u got totally different readings.
